Dan Flynn is a Director at Whitelaw Flynn Lawyers and leads the Alpine and Property Law teams.

Dan has over 25 years' experience in all aspects of property law including acting for private and corporate developers in commercial, retail and residential developments. He has extensive experience in Alpine Law and all aspects of transactions in our alpine areas, being a trusted advisor to major stakeholders and private owners.

He has extensive experience in acting for private and public companies, including statutory authorities such as Country Fire Authority and the Alpine Resort Management Boards in commercial and retail leasing, licensing, acquisitions and dispositions. Dan has a particular interest and expertise in the conduct and operations of alpine resorts.

Dan was selected for inclusion in the 2016, 2017 and 2018 editions of Best Lawyers® Australia for Land Use and Zoning and the 2017 and 2018 editions for Real Property.

Dan’s experience includes:

Acting for Developers in high volume multi lot subdivisions, both greenfield and apartment developments including Owners Corporations
Acting for CBD buildings handling all leasing and associated issues
Acting for regional shopping centres, preparing retail leases and dealing with disputes
Advisor to various Industry associations and providing presentations, seminars and advice on commercial and retail leasing to members
Acted in the acquisition and sale of CBD buildings, including due diligence
Acting for both Landlords and Tenants in retail tenancy disputes and mediations.
